"It's essential to draw a line between events unfolding in the Middle Eastern region and situations developing at in our country," the minister told a morning news program on Friday.

"My message would be to people who are considering to participate in a demonstration is to pause and reflect for a short while, and consider if you had lost a family member to a terrorist incident in this country," she continued.

There were "strong" measures to protect the right to protest, she stated, but they could be superseded on the guidance of the law enforcement.

"I can take my lead from the law enforcement, if they were to inform me there was an lack of capacity to respond and to police the protests, then there are authorities that are at my disposal," she elaborated.

Jewish community leaders express concerns

The UK's senior rabbinical leader stated that many people of the Jewish population questioned why protests in solidarity of Palestinian advocacy groups had been allowed to occur.

The group was banned as a prohibited organization in July. At various demonstrations following the ban, numerous individuals have been taken into custody for showing support for the organization, which has won authorization to dispute the ban.

"Some of them include outright anti-Jewish sentiment, outright support for Hamas. Not every single person, however there is so much of this, which certainly is risky to many within our community," the religious leader remarked.

"There's no distinction between the speech on our public spaces, the behavior of individuals in this way, and what subsequently occurs, which was yesterday's terror incident."

Additionally, he urged the administration "once more", to "assert authority on these demonstrations, they are dangerous."
