Law enforcement report they have dismantled an international gang believed of smuggling as many as 40K stolen cell phones from the Britain to Mainland China in the last year.

In what London's police force labels the Britain's most significant initiative against phone thefts, eighteen individuals have been detained and in excess of 2K snatched handsets found.

The men, each Afghan nationals in their mid-adulthood, were charged with working together to handle pilfered items and plotting to disguise or move stolen merchandise.

During their detention, numerous devices were found in their vehicle, and approximately an additional 2,000 phones were discovered at locations associated with them. One more suspect, a twenty-nine-year-old citizen of India, has subsequently been accused with the identical crimes.
